In 2014 MKS purchased the Granville Phillips portion of Brooks Automation where we had done previous work. MKS asked us to continue enhancing the demand management software, including expanding it to additional locations. For example, we added a Factory Planning tool that streamlined the scheduling of orders on the factory floor, reduced overbooking, and allowed Customer Service Representatives to provide ship dates immediately to prospective customers.

Created demand management software for manufacturing company that provided work instructions to the production floor and assisted several other departments with various tasks, including inventory and part management, late order visibility, custom label printing, and reporting. Technologies used: ASP.NET, LightSwitch, WCF, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, C#, XAML, Silverlight, Dymo & Zebra printing

CUNA Mutual Group (2009-2010)

Dramatically increased the security of sensitive financial data by migrating CUNA Mutual Group’s retirement planning desktop application from local data storage to SOA architecture using web services and SQL Server. Built automated data migration tool with SSIS. Technologies used: ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSIS, web services, VB.Net.

The Fireside Theatre (2008-2015)

Designed and implemented a new business process for The Fireside Theatre to allow customers to use gift cards across theater, dining, and gift shop business units. Technologies used: Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), C#, SQL Server.

General Casualty (2005-2007)

Tech Info Systems assisted General Casualty (now QBE) in creating a complex web application that helped independent agents create insurance policies for their Commercial Business Auto product. The application had a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and an innovative Business Rule Engine to efficiently enforce complex insurance rules. Technologies used: ASP.NET, C#, COM+, DB2, XML, Cruise Control, nAnt, nUnit.

Word 2003 XML Report Generation (2005)

Tech Info Systems teamed up with Environ to create a state-of-the-art report generation tool for the State of Wyoming. Microsoft Word documents were created by merging Word 2003 XML templates with database data. Technologies used: ASP.NET, C#, Word 2003, XML, XSD, SQL Server.
