I spent a warm December day brewing a Fat Tire clone to celebrate the recent passing of a test. When the day was done, I had a little over 10 gallons of beautiful sweet wort that will slowly become beer over the next couple weeks.

Album: Quetico

Roger canoed the Quetico with three friends. We checked in at the Cache Bay Ranger Station and traveled a large 65-mile counter-clockwise circle over the course of a week. It was exhausting but the flora and fauna were amazing!

Roger's Aunt Laura and Uncle Mike celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary June 10. A highlight of the event was a mock wedding, a tradition Roger's relatives sometimes perform at 25th wedding anniversaries. It is a spoof of the original wedding, where men dress as bridesmaids and women are the groomsmen. It is a blast.

Album: Mush-Ko-Se-Day Park

Mush-Ko-Se-Day Park, in the Town of Koshkonong, WI was purchased by the town in 2003. It is being restored to the native vegetation that was present prior to European settlement. It has a wonderful diversity of habitat - 16 acres of wetlands, 15 acres of restored prairie, and 13 acres of woodlands.

Except for Safeway and the Developmental Center, these photos are of buildings that surround the Plaza or the Square; the park in the middle of town that has a little theatre and two playgrounds, ponds, ducks, lots of grand oaks, a rose garden and City Hall.
