VW mods - Garbage holder
Initially we tried carrying a small garbage container, but it was always in our
way. There is really no perfect place to store garbage, but I found a pretty good
spot. Just hang a plastic grocery bag over the rear beverage holder mounted to the
wall between the rear seat and the sliding door. As long as it's not too full, we
can still fold the seat into a bed without interference. But if it's pretty full
or extra stinky, we temporarily move it somewhere else when heading to bed.
